Brothers - Massachusetts Children’s Photographer

Thursday, October 22nd, 2009

A few months ago I photographed this sweet newborn and somehow his photos never made it to my blog.

At the time, it was easy to see that big brother was clearly smitten with the little guy.blog27

And now, six months later, it is clear that the feeling is mutual.

Beautiful

Sunday, October 18th, 2009

Do I photograph the most gorgeous families,or what?  These kids have the most stunning eyes! I am so glad this awful weather held off yesterday and we ended up with a beautiful fall morning.  I was lucky to spend it with this great family.

This is certainly my favorite time of the year - and also my busiest! So I will be short on words, since I know mom is anxiously awaiting her sneak peek.

One Year Later - Western MA Children’s Photography

Monday, October 12th, 2009

I know I say this all the time, but I really love to see clients returning year after year.  To see how much kids can change and grow so quickly is just amazing.  You may recognize these cuties from my web site.  Here they are one year later.

What to Wear - MA and CT Family Photography

Sunday, October 11th, 2009

Wondering what to wear to you fall portrait session?  Did you know that coordinated but not “uniform” looks for families create a much more pleasing photograph? Moreover, it is not nearly as difficult as you think it is!  The cardinal rule of family dressing for portraits is simple: choose items for the entire family as if you were creating one outfit.  If all of your choices were somehow on one person, would the result be pleasing, colorwise?  A handy trick for those who are hesitant to break away from the monochrome madness is to choose one patterned item (for example a print dress for your daughter) and then select the rest of the family’s clothing from colors within that pattern.  Jump start your creativity with these “what to wear” examples.

Little Boys - Western MA Photographer

Monday, October 5th, 2009

The great thing about little boys, while you can never be sure what they are going to do next, you can be sure it will be 100% genuine.  They make it easy to capture those beautiful moments of pure joy and adoring interaction.  Here is a sneak peek from a great weekend session.  It was a pleasure!
